Accounting Manager_Italy

Capwatt promotes, owns and operates integrated energy optimization solutions, contributing to a sustainable energy paradigm. To join our Finance Italy team, we are recruiting for the position of Accounting Manager.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accounting, financial statements and audit activities for italian companies;
  • Account analyses, reconciliations, and monthly closures. Conduct detailed account analyses and reconciliations. Oversee and execute month-end close activities, acting as the accounting subject matter expert and lead the accounting team;
  • Ensure strict adherence to deadlines, tax regulations, and accounting standards, including IAS/IFRS, and OIC, across italian entities;
  • Lead the accounting internalization process with the ERP and system enhancements. Support the testing, implementation, and optimization of ERP systems;
  • Supervision and management of the Accounts Payable Cycle and General Accounting;
  • Design, implement, and standardize accounting processes across all group entities, pursuing a continuosly process optimization;
  • Support the fiscal and VAT declarations and fulfillments, in connection with external tax advisors;
  • Stay up-to-date on Group, national and international accounting policies.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in Accounting, Economics, or a related fields;
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting Manager position;
  • Knowledge of Italian accounting rules, main taxes duties and obligation;
  • Accounting principle knowledge (ITA local GAAP), financial reporting with monthly strict timelines;
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus;
  • Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory);
  • Experience in team management;
  • Team spirit, interpersonal skills, and dynamism;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and several stakeholders;
